Larry Turrentine
Larry is from Lawton, Oklahoma, the son of a career Army non-commissioned officer. His son, Trenton, is a Class of 2015 USMA graduate.
Larry did his military time in Friedberg, FRG and was in the Admissions Office at West Point. He completed his field artillery battery command in Ft. Hood, Texas and left the military shortly after that. He pursued his MBA at Oklahoma City University and upon completion, joined Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, where he spent the next seventeen years, ascending into management, in Dallas, San Antonio, and Oklahoma City. He seized the opportunity to move back to the Dallas area with Wells Fargo Advisors, scratching the long-time inch to traffic in stocks and bonds. He later moved to Fidelity Investments and ended his career upon retirement in 2019 while he was with Charles Schwab.
Today, Larry spends much of his time reading, financial coaching, and is a board member with a community Credit Union in Dallas. Having been ordained a Deacon over 40 years ago, he believes success in life starts with faith and family.
