Ray is the former Executive Director of Life Model Works and co-author with Jim Wilder of Escaping Enemy Mode: How our brains unite or divide us. The principles behind the Life Model are transforming his life, work, and personal relationships every day. Ray and his wife Deborah help people across America and the world escape enemy mode and connect to Jesus as Life Model Ambassadors with Life Model Works (lifemodelworks.org).
Ray is a skilled public communicator and a leadership coach who enjoys helping leaders discover their uniqueness and unleash their potential. Ray and his wife Deborah started and pastored a church in Georgia and he served as an associate pastor of adult ministries in a church in Colorado.
Ray is a retired with forty-three years of military and civilian service with the Department of Defense. He is a graduate of the Army Airborne and Ranger Schools.
Ray has been blessed by forty years of marriage to the love of his life, Deborah. They enjoy life in Oregon with their five children and five grandchildren. A disabled veteran, he is a malignant melanoma cancer survivor, avid skier, coffee aficionado and mentor to young leaders.
