Scott Marx
Scott Marx grew up in Wisconsin, hunting, fishing, and riding dirt bikes, then on to West Point and Company A-4. His best memories there were made on the Sport Parachute Team. After graduation he served as a Field Artillery officer in the 82d Airborne and 2d Infantry Divisions and commander of the 360th Transportation Company.
Scott left the Army in 1990 and enrolled in the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1995. He joined a mixed animal practice in the Colorado mountains working mainly on horses, cattle, and buffalo. His focus shifted to equine dentistry in 2000, both private practice and teaching. His work also included large carnivore dentistry.
Scott retired from veterinary practice in 2022 and moved to the Michigan Upper Peninsula. He lives on a quiet river with Chesapeake Bay Retrievers Clyde and Cletus, and Bracco Italiano Chuck. The hunting and fishing here is great.
