LTC (ret) Todd Foreman
Mr. Foreman is the Founder and Executive Director of American Wheelchair Safety Flags, a non-profit dedicated to saving lives and preventing injuries of individuals who use wheelchairs in public spaces across America. For that past 10 years, he worked for Professional Contract Services, Inc. as Operations Manager of the Community Employment Program across Texas where he and his team assisted 1,000 young adults with significant disabilities find rewarding employment in their local communities. Prior to this, Todd was the Contract Program Manager for the US Army Exceptional Family Member Program where he led and managed over 50 employees who provided quality non-clinical case management services to over 70,000 Army Soldiers and families with Exceptional Family Members at 36 DoD locations worldwide.
As an Infantry Officer, Todd led US soldiers, sailors and airmen, as well as foreign troops within NATO and the United Nations. His deployments included Korea, Haiti, Bosnia, Kosovo, Kuwait, and Iraq. Immediately following his military service, Mr. Foreman served with the American Red Cross, San Antonio Area Chapter as the Director of Emergency Services, directing relief efforts across South Texas and nationally, including the World Trade Center in NYC during 9-11. Todd was then called back to government service as a Civil-Servant for over a decade serving as a Program Manager of Public Information and Marketing for the Department of Defense with service throughout Europe, Latin America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East including long deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Recently retired, Todd now enjoys “no alarm clocks,” long hikes and reconnecting with old friends, especially those who also belong to the greatest fraternity on earth, West Point.
