Yvonne Doll, DM
Yvonne Doll was born in Frankfurt, West Germany. She served 22 years on active duty as a U.S. Army Military Police officer, retiring in 2003. While assigned to the United States Disciplinary Barracks (USDB), the Army’s maximum-security prison, at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, she met her husband, Rudy Garity, her lifelong hero. Rudy served with distinction as an enlisted Military Police soldier, a combat aviator in Vietnam, and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1990.
Together they raised a blended family and welcomed two additional children, Erin and Kelly. After military retirement, Yvonne earned a doctorate in management, completing a dissertation on strategies used by 23 women General Officers to lead and ascend within the Regular Army. She also holds a master’s degree in systems management and currently serves as a professor in Walden University’s Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program. She has contributed to academia as a committee member on more than 150 doctoral dissertations.
Outside of her professional life, Yvonne enjoys volunteering, reading, golfing, being outdoors, and spoiling her grandchildren.
