Greg has over 45 years of practicing, studying, teaching and coaching leadership in the public and private sectors at all levels of leadership to include Boards. Following his deep passion for teaching and coaching leadership, Greg started his own company “leadershipForward” in 2002. Since then, Greg and his firm have provided executive and team coaching and development to thousands of executives and hundreds of companies in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. Additionally, Greg has become a national speaker and expert on leading change, building resilience, greater agility and post traumatic growth. In 2018 Greg released an Amazon Best Seller entitled, “You Can’t Give What You Don’t Have: Creating the 7 Habits that Make a Remarkable Life” and in 2021, released a second book with a colleague, Dr. Dennis O’Neil, “Changing Altitude: Helping You Soar in Your New Leadership Role” which has quickly climbed the Amazon best seller list. 
 
In 1981 upon graduation from the United States Military Academy, Greg served as an infantry officer in a host of elite Army units to include two assignments with the 82nd Airborne Division. He was selected to teach leadership and organizational change at the United States Military Academy where he earned the highest educator ratings for teacher excellence while serving as the Program Director for the Academy’s core leadership course and management capstone program on leading organizational change.
 
Greg was recruited from the Army to join McKinsey & Company, a global strategic consulting firm, to continue his focus on issues of leadership and organizational change in the private sector. BellSouth Telecommunications recruited Greg to form an internal strategic consulting and organizational transformation group to include the creation of a $4 billion business unit that included 22 call centers and 2,200 employees serving 1.5 million customers. 
 
Greg was recruited to a global executive search firm, Egon Zehnder International, and provided human capital consulting services to clients consisting of senior executive search and assessment, succession planning, leadership development, and organizational change management. 
 
On a personal front, Greg was the 2nd of 6 children and all served in the U.S. military to include his father. Greg has been married for 45 years to Claudia, a Pediatric Nurse. They have four adult children, five grandchildren and reside in Atlanta, Georgia.
